FURZE LANE/BUS LANE
Colas, working on behalf of Portsmouth City Council, plan to carry out replacement of bollard and associated infrastructure in the Furze Lane Bus Lane Corridor.
When are the works taking place?
The works will start on Monday 8th July and will take about 2 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Our working hours will be 08:00—17:00 and there will be no weekend working.
What will be done?
We will be replacing the automatic rising bollard with a more modern version.
What impact will it have on me?
Due to the nature of the works, there will be bus diversions in place. To close the bus lane to enable to installation of a new bollard, First Bus will be diverting buses via Milton Road and Velder Avenue in both directions, omitting Locksway Road and Moorings Way during the bollard replacement.
